Welcome Vision My purpose as a watchman is to keep alert to things that will potentially harm the family of Christ and warn them of the subtle designs of the enemy. My focus is directed to several areas of the Christian life, namely:

Bio Sketch I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and degreed from the Milwaukee Institute of Technology and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Fine Arts. I also attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, and Morningstar School of Ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina. My mentors and teachers have been people like Bill Britton, Dr. Kelley Varner, Stuart Briscoe, Howard Rand, Steve Collins, Gerald Fleury, E. Raymond Capt, and F. W. C. Neser. All of these great Spirit-filled, prophetic expositors have passed leaving me with the realization that while all my teachers are dead, their mantle remains with me. Unfortunately, there aren't many true Bible expositors left due to the “great falling away” and the “strong delusion” present in the world today. My main focus is on what the Bible means as well as what it says. I had great teachers who taught their students how to properly study the Bible. Some of them were geniuses and one had a photographic memory when it came to the Bible. The context of the scripture, history and culture is necessary to discern the greater meaning of every text. This is why I am interested in secular as well as Bible history, archaeology, anthropology, church history, the early church fathers, conspiracy theories, and current events.” Although the great teachers are few, prophetic networks have risen in their place and it is important to know what Father is saying to the network. That is why I am plugged into the prophetic community. The spirit of the prophets is subject to the prophets and its important to know how what you are getting fits with others. Because of the deep sleep that is on the church in this hour, I don’t get invited to many places. I've been to Peru four times to teach pastor’s conferences, and created The Navigator's Weekend Bible College with my son, Joel Killion, who lives with his wife, Lauren, and their four daughters, in Wilson, North Carolina. [This website - The Cherubim Network - and this web-page was built by Joel to provide a platform for people, like me, who carry a deeper message for the Body of Christ.] [To hear free audio of our first Weekend Bible College, scroll down to the bottom of this web-page.] I have been called many things such as an apostle, prophet, teacher, counselor, “a stick that stirs the drink,” “the cattle prod, the “dissolver of doubts,” and “an oasis in the desert.” Of course, I'll let others decide who and what he am. All I care about is re-digging the old wells of truth and combating the smokescreen of deception. On a different note, I sold my first painting while in the sixth grade - a rendering of the inside of an old bank building - to the manager of the bank for $45 (Instant wealth for a sixth grader in 1959). That set the dye for a life of artistic expression. When I moved to North Carolina in 1977, I joined the Wilson Active Artists. I won his first competition with a “Best in Show” architectural painting of the Ralston-Purina grain elevators, and the next year won honorable mention with a 4’ x 8’ oil of football players called, “In the Trenches.” Also, while in Wilson, I broke into mural-painting and set-painting for the local community theater. My semi-realistic style of the streets of old London and the Ascot horse track in “My Fair Lady” brought encouragement from the director to “...get ye up out of here and move to a big city where there are people who appreciate the arts. If you don’t, you'll die a sad and angry man.” In 1998, I moved to Charlotte, NC, and started attending MorningStar Fellowship Church where I still fellowship today. When I first moved to Charlotte, I taught art at Charlotte Christian School and have, since then, painted eight murals, done commissioned art and completed numerous faux finishes. And now I am going public in North Carolina's foremost art center with a huge variety of subjects that reflects his desire to “give the public what they want.” One of my favorite Scriptures is Psalm 82:2 - “I have said, 'Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the Most High.” When our Father Yahweh created us, He reproduced after Himself and created a race of duplicates of Himself. Yahweh is a Creator – that is who He is and that is what He does. Since man is His offspring, that's what we shall be and do. We can’t help it. It’s in our programming. When we create we are imitating Him and it comes naturally. In this there is communion with the Father, comparable to, but far better than, the communion enjoyed by a man and a woman. This is what drives me to paint and create...communion...being “in the zone” where time and space is suspended and the human and divine nature within us is recharged and energy returns. Also, when I paint I commune with my subject and use my imagination to experience what my subject is a part of. "Calgon take me away!" I am that football player, that flower, that landscape, that peacock. Childlike? Yes, but so good for one's mental health.

My destiny has been set by the prophetic words of seasoned prophets I have known through the decades who have called me, “the stick that stirs the drink,” “the cattle prod,” and “the dissolver of doubts.” My mode of operation is prophetic writing, itinerate ministry, marketplace ministry and prophetic/professional art. If you are interested in having me come to your church or ministry, email me or give me a call at 252-299-6524.
