Our ministry strives for pastoral empowerment. We
provide guidance to pastors in the setup and
development of a church. We help with the setup of a
Community Development Corporation and show you
how to work in the community where your church is.

Elijah Forte Ministries offers revival workshops and
conferences on leadership and church related issues for
evangelists, ministries and pastors. We will show how to
set up community outreach programs, counseling
options and opportunities. This is a complete start to
finish guidance of church procedures and operations.
We deal in leadership, accounting, and 501 C (3)
applications as well as 501 C (3) compliance audit and
responsibilities. All work information and guidance is
provided in a non-denominational manner.

Elijah Forte Ministries also has an accredited, non-
denominational bible college that offer degrees and
certificates. We are in the initial stages of developing the
Alternate House (Drug Rehab Center), and a Family life
center. These programs are design to reach the whole
community. Some locations will have health clinics in
them.

We are the only company of its kind in the immediate
area! This is a new concept.
Elijah Forte Ministries
provides services by the belief of God's Plan, God's
order, and God's way!

If you have any questions or are interested in our
services, please call us and we will be happy to help you.

Bio Sketch

Apostle Elijah O. Forte began his ministry in 1974, in
Washington, DC, under the leadership of Jessie O. Flood.
He knew ever since childhood that a call of God was
upon his life. Being reared in a Godly home with a strong
up-bringing in the church and taught the word of God by
his parents, Apostle Forte received the call of God upon
his life to preach the unadulterated gospel of Jesus Christ
in 1973. In 1974, he answered the call and was ordained
and licensed as a minister. For the next several years he
traveled and preached in many cites and different states.
He was on radio & TV stations in Maryland, Washington,
DC, and Wilson, NC. In 1985, God spoke to him to pastor
and birth
Vision of The End times Ministries, in
Washington, DC. He pastured this church until God
moved him to North Carolina in 1990; he turned the
church over to another pastor and followed the will of
God - 1992 marked the birthing of Zion Christian
worship Center Ministries Inc.

Apostle Forte has walked in Christian ministry as an
Evangelist, Prophet, Teacher, Pastor and an Apostle. In
1997, he married Cora Barnes, who also became Vice
President of the Ministry - for this he is forever grateful.
And they are the parents of six children and six
grandchildren.

God has blessed Apostle Forte to birth over 25 churches
in Maryland, Washington DC, and North Carolina.
Apostle Forte has attained the following achievements:

It's not about feeling good in church and
getting your shout or dance on, but it is getting an

(1) Zion Christian Training Centers

This program was setup for those who have a call of God to go forth in the ministry or to start a
church or for those who are already pastoring or preaching and need that something extra to be
deposited into them. These centers will provide training, certification, and ordination in the
areas of church operations and administration to church officers. We will train deacons,
ministers and pastors how to fulfill the great commission. This program was birth out of
Ephesians 4:11-14 (Amp):

11)
And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles
(special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists
(preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and
teachers
.

12)
His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people),
[that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church)
,

13)
[That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the
[full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood
(the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own
perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him
.

14)
So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of
teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and
cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing
errors to mislead
.

It is important that everyone who is called to preach the gospel understand that they are also
called to bring perfection, unity and edification to all the saints.
(2) Zion Christian School of Ministry

The School of Ministry was started to equip Pastors and ministers in preparing themselves for
the work of ministry and to pastor a church with effectiveness.

I have been in the ministry for 35 years and I have seen a lot of preachers and pastors who were
not properly trained for the work they were doing. As I began to pray for them God began to
speak to my heart about starting a school of ministry. In 1994 we began our first classes at Zion
Christian Center in Roxboro, NC. In 1996 we moved the School and Ministry headquarters to
Wilson, NC. Then for the next four years we developed the class into what is now a "
School of
Ministry
." We received our license from the state of North Carolina to operate and establish a
school and were approved to offer degrees from Associate to PhD’s. We also have been approved
by the
University of North Carolina's (Chapel Hill, NC) office of the president for student services
and licensure. We are in the process of receiving nation and international accreditation from
Accrediting Commission International, of Arkansas.

Since 1996 we have had over 125 students who have graduated from the school. Since
receiving our licenses we have issued 7 PhD’s, 1 masters, 5 bachelors, 10 associates, 103
diploma's and 31 certificate's. Our future plans are to build a training and development center
that would include the school. We are planning to build one in Wilson, Raleigh and Chesapeake
VA.

The Zion Christian School of Ministry is committed to education, especially the education of
persons preparing for services in Christian ministry. The school is committed to bringing
discipline to the call of God into the life of every person that enters the school.

Our goal is to equip and mature the body of Christ and bring them to the fullness of Jesus Christ
so that his life might be seen in us.
(3) Zion Christian Family Life Center

Mission Statement: “Restoring life to all who seek change through an all encompassing vision that
promotes healthy living, education, and economic reform. It is the Family Life Center’s Mission to
fulfill our nations motto by offering people a SECOND CHANCE at life, liberty, and the pursuit of
happiness
.”

The family life center is designed to bring healing into the
second highest order on the face of
the earth - the family.

The
first highest is marriage.

There is one ingredient that they both must have to have God’s blessing upon it and that is
covenant. Covenant is one of the greatest things that pleases God. We will establish into the
family unit, first covenant, second trust, third healing, fourth unity. With these four things
being brought back into the family it will re-establish God's blessing.

Some other area that we will be dealing with is:

  1. Premarital counseling.
  2. Marriage counseling.
  3. Divorce counseling.
  4. Family planning
  5. Parenting a child.
  6. Mentoring your own Children.
  7. Children & parents talking to each other.
  8. Children birthing children.
  9. Children & Drugs and alcohol.
  10. Death in the family.
  11. Financial planning for today & tomorrow.
  12. Health education and awareness.
(4) House of Job Restoration Center

This project was designed to give Pastors a place of refuge and rest. The prophets of old had their
caves, and dens, and wilderness. Even so we must create a place for those who want to steal
away and be alone with God. The country, the beaches and the mountains are good, but how
about a place where you have seasoned mothers and fathers who have experienced many things
in the Lord, who can pour into your lives too; they can go into the prayer room and pray for you
while you are seeking the face of God.

This house will be similar to the way the tabernacle was made.

You will enter into the first room which will be a place of repentance. An altar will be there so
you can lay everything on it.

The next room from that will be a room of Praise & Worship. This room you will do nothing but
sing praises to him that lives for ever.

The next room will be the place of thanksgiving. This place you will fall to your knees and give
him thanks.

The last room will be the Most Holy Place. This room, like the one that was before it, will have
no seats, just an open floor; in this place you will lay on your face before the God of heaven and
earth, and you will stay their until he speaks to you.

This house will have living quarters so that a person can stay as long as 40 days. Their will be
no charge to come just a free will offering, or whatever the Lord has put upon your heart to sow.
As you leave this room in the corner to the right will be the offering chamber this is where you
will bless the lord with your offering. From time to time we will ask some of the guests to preach.

This house shall receive its guest by reservation only.
(5) Second Chance Empowerment

Second Chance Empowerment is a community development corporation that will employ the
help of other non-profit organization to serve our communities. We will cover and address all
areas of need that are found in every community we enter. This will be, for the time being,
limited to the state of North Carolina, but it could be sent to help other places around the world.
We will work with all levels of government to provide services for the public. We will establish a
liaison person between Social Services, Unemployment offices as well as the Social Security
Office.

These are some of the areas of concern:

  1. Housing for homeless both for singles, and for families.
  2. Feeding programs or soup kitchens that serve three meals a day seven days a week.
  3. Build a housing complex with a health clinic in it.
  4. Provide and sponsor health awareness to the poor and rural areas.
  5. Those who are getting out of jail provide a place to stay and training for jobs or school.
  6. Drug and substance abuse classes and provide information to help kids and the school
    system.
