Within the universal Body of Christ, there is a remnant seeking to know and appropriate the fullness of
Jesus' Finished Work. They are seeking to walk, experientially, in all that Jesus lived and died for,
wholeheartedly running after God with every intension of laying hold of Him with both hands.
Without a doubt, there is "more" to Jesus and in Jesus than know and those who are needy for Him,
who are desperate for Him, are pursuing Him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.
Why are they seeking Him so hard? Because God is "a Man of His Word" Who promises...
"...If...you will seek (inquire for and require as necessity) the Lord your God, you will
find Him if you [truly] seek Him with all your heart [and mind] and soul and life" (Deut
4:29, Amp).
"...You will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me [as a vital necessity] and find Me
when you search for Me with all your heart" (Jer. 29:13, Amp).
"...Without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever
would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the
rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]" (Heb 11:6, Amp).
"Come close to God and He will come close to you..." (James 4:8, Amp)
"...The Lord...Whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple..." (Mal 3:1, Amp).
There is a difference between "seeking" the Lord and "finding" Him. Most do not seek Him while some
do but very few "seek" Him until they "find" Him.
Tommy Tenney wrote a great book called, “God Chasers” and then wrote "God Catchers." Those who
"chase" the Lord will eventually and are supposed to "catch" Him, but do we really believe it's possible
to "find" Him and "catch" Him or "take hold" of Him?
I want to encourage those who are seeking Him not to quit - KEEP IT UP and don't let anything or
anyone keep you from pursuing Him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. The only one who
can really stop you, is you - remember that!
While Christ has been calling men, women, boys and girls to draw near to Him, some have apprehended
that for which they've been apprehended; they laid hold of Him with the same intensity that He's laid
hold of them.
Are we ready to embrace those who walk in the fullness of Christ?
What will happen and how will we react when those who are walking in ALL that Jesus purchased walk
through into our churches, fellowships, work-places and homes?
When “the sons of God” begin showing up in our local church meetings, how will we treat them? How
will we talk about them? How will we see them? Will we embrace or excommunicate them? Will we
celebrate them or give them “the right foot of fellowship”? Or, worse yet, will we embrace them to
their face and then stab them in the back when they turn around?
How will we respond WHEN they say or do things that we do not particularly agree with? What if they
give us the Word from God? What if they come in and pronounce judgment on our petty religiosity
culture? What if they boldly interrupt our quaint, pre-planned, traditional, Sunday morning service
and stick it to us? What if they come in with “a scourge of small cords” and wreak havoc on us,
clearing out the sanctuary JUST LIKE JESUS (Matt. 21:12-16; John 2:13-17)? Will we be “SORE
DISPLEASED” (Matt. 21:15) with them (like “the chief priests and scribes”) or will we discern THE
HEART OF THE FATHER in their words and actions and fall on our knees in heart-broken-
repentance?
Think about it: While MANY are questioning the unveiling of the fullness of God in a people, there
ARE SOME who are saying, “I am tired of merely TALKING about this – Let’s DO IT” – and they WILL
DO IT! While so many may EVEN be hungry for this and seek it with ALL their hearts, the questions
must be asked: how will they respond when someone comes into their presence who has ACTUALLY
gone BEYOND JUST SEEKING and has actually FOUND (LAID HOLD OF) what they have sought for.
Will we be jealous of them and betray them like Judas or rejoice in their life?
I am encouraged to see those who are feeding on the PURE, UNDEFILED message of the Kingdom,
rare as it really is. But I'm concerned that we are still NOT prepared to SEE (experience and handle) a
people who walk in ALL (AND I DO MEAN *ALL*) Jesus lived and died for. They may like to hear and
read about it but what will we do when the REALITY COMES TO LIFE and MEETS US FACE TO FACE.
MANY *LOVE* to read the Bible and use it to expound and prophecy what WILL BE when a people
APPLY the WORD and put it into REAL SHOE LEATHER, but are they ready to greet the
*FULFILLMENT* of those wonderful prophecies?
Think about it: For hundreds of years BEFORE Jesus’ earthly life and ministry, prophets foretold His
coming [Messianic prophecies inundate the majority of the Old Testament, pointing to Him Who would
come and restore all things]. But you know what? The majority of onlookers who awaited the
fulfillment of those powerful prophetic promises, crucified the Fulfillment when He showed up. Only a
FEW CHOSE to BELIEVE and CLING to the FULFILLMENT to the BITTER END.
I tell you the truth: MANY are crucifying and will crucify the sons of God for they have placed and will
place their HUMAN INTERPRETATION on the Lord’s DIVINE EXPECTATION.
Let’s bring it even closer to home:
How will the leadership treat the sons of God in glory? Will the elder and deacon boards flip out? Will
they call a meeting and discuss the quite extermination of these odd individuals? Will the
NICOLAITANS tighten the grips of their man-made control and lord it over those who are walking with
God? GOD HATES the DEEDS of the NICOLAITANS and SO DO I (Rev. 2:6:15; Ezek. 34:1-6).
How will the pew warmers treat them? I doubt that the sons of God will ever be asked out to lunch by
anyone after church; I am sure that MANY will keep them at arms length, treating them like the plague.
Personally, I will NOT shun them. I intend to BE and DO EVERYTHING that I am destined to BE and
DO in Christ (and no one is going to stop me). And when THE Son shows up in the many sons of God, I
will recognize them and uphold them with everything that I am.
As for me, I do not claim to walk in the fullness by any means (HOWEVER, I am running toward it with
everything me). But I can say that I have tasted of it at times in my life. And when those times have
come, and I have been in a church service or conference gathering, I have found myself trying to
contain the Light. In those times, revelation, inspiration and power have swelled WITHIN me straining
for release but there is little that I can do with it since I know that 98% of the people around me could
never handle it if I just “LET IT FLOW” [So many people sing the song, “Let the River flow. Let the
River flow. Holy Spirit Come. Move in power,” but do they REALLY MEAN that?].
So what do I do? I contain myself. I discern what is in me and let only that which the crowd can handle
FLOW OUT – but that is usually only about 10% of all I have in me in Christ. Wisdom knows when to
keep its mouth and heart shut, but what will happen when God says, “Take the cap off!”
It is clear that we all love and promote FREEDOM and LIBERTY in Christ BUT we usually only relate
this to forms of worship or finance or physical health or whatever, BUT how far are we willing to go
with freedom?
Our carnal, limited minds only apply the truths/revelations of God within the LIMITS of our own
personal experiences, preferences and paradigms; therefore, in this way, we are NOT free in MANY
ways due to limited understanding.
Are we willing to give in to the FULL weight of ALL FREEDOM? When the sons of God walk through the
door, will we let them be free TOO or will we still think that freedom only relates to waving banners and
dancing in the aisles? When the Spirit manifests Himself through a man, woman, boy or girl who carries
the Spirit without measure and chooses to go in one spiritual direction, will the MCs and worship
leaders ignore Him and press on in THEIR own PRE-arranged, comfortably-established, performance-
based agendas.
Quite frankly, there is no telling what the righteous remnant will DO as a result of who they ARE but
there is one thing that I can tell you: THEY WILL BE & DO WHAT THEY ARE TOLD TO BE & DO BY
THE FATHER and HIM ALONE,
Truthfully speaking, the sons of God have been in the earth since the beginning. There ARE NOT many
of them but they are hidden until the time of their unveiling. There is no selfish ambition in them so
they are not pushing themselves forward. They are waiting on God, waiting for His queues. There is
nothing about their appearance that will ever give away their identity – the appearance of their heart is
their only give-away, but that is hidden like a treasure, except in the presence of the truly discerning.
They don’t talk a lot and usually sit where no one notices them. Behind-the-scenes is where they thrive.
They are not popular or attractive to the people-pleasing masses. When they speak, their words are
profound but few notice the weight of their words for few have ears to hear or eyes to see.
My heart weeps for the church for I know that THE MAJORITY of Christendom will treat the sons of
God in the same way that Judas, the religious leaders and the multitudes treated Jesus.
At the same time, I am encouraged for Jesus said this would happen: Matthew 10:5-42; John 15:18-25.
And all those who truly walk with the Lord will be hated and ostracized, right along with Him.
This is the fellowship of His suffering.
